Inspect Drain Line
This is another very important thing to do, should your AC ever flood your home. If there is any obstacle in the drain line, it can prevent the drain line from passing out water from your unit. It is this water that now flows back into your unit and makes it to flood your home. So ensure that the drain hole of your AC is free and clean at all times, so that you don’t end up with a flooded home.
It might also be that something is not right inside your AC, and that could be the reason it is flooding your home.
